Enter (no car entry) through the original wrought iron gates at Gate A (Melways ref. 2G D11) on the corner of Alexandra Avenue and Anderson Street, and continue along the paths alongside some of the garden's most majestic trees and rolling lawns.
Signage is clear, however once you see the lake to your right you have arrived. We are just to the left next to the Garden Gift Shop. If arriving from the Shrine of Remembrance enter from Gate F (Melways ref. 2F K12) and follow the directional signage to the Tea Rooms.
Pedestrian access only - no cars are allowed to drive through the Gardens.
Why not take the Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle (free bus) to Stop 13, The Shrine and Royal Botanic Gardens and follow the signs to the Tearooms
